iOS devices won’t experience the crash because unsupported gamepads won’t connect to iOS at all. While the patch notes have identified an Android-only issue where players who attempt to connect unsupported gamepads will experience crashes, PlayStation and Xbox One controllers have had no compatibility issues with Mobile Terraria. You can now preview your character on the player creation menu, and the hairstylist and dresser windows now have their own in-game popups. In addition to these changes, mobile Terraria has also reworked its character customization screens. Players can now hook up most Bluetooth gamepads and have the freedom to remap or reposition any existing control within the control space. Six years after its release, Terraria has added controller support and control customization to its mobile platform.
